Does Afloata really work with no internet?
Yes. Afloata stores your boats, service logs, checklists and reminders on your phone. They keep working in airplane mode; internet is only needed to sync between devices.
What happens when I come back online?
Your changes upload and your other devices catch up automatically. If the same record changed on two devices while offline, the most recent change to that record is kept.
How much does Afloata cost?
Afloata is free for individual boat owners during early access. A paid fleet tier with shared boats, crew roles and a web dashboard is planned for charter operators.
Is Afloata for sailboats or motorboats?
Both. You can track inboard diesels, outboards, saildrives, rigging, anodes, batteries, safety gear and the equipment unique to your boat.
Can I get my data out?
Yes. Export saves a complete snapshot of your data to your device, so your ship's log is never locked in.
How do I delete my account?
Use Settings, Account, Delete account in the app, or follow the account deletion page. Deletion is permanent and removes synced data from our servers.
